To entice people to come to an event, they do giveaways, raffles, offer good food.
The best part is when people say, “How can I be a part of what you are doing?”
“We’ve embraced this idea that we are the solution. If we lock arms, we can accomplish just about everything we need to.”

“Nothing worthwhile is easy.”
TIDE Swimming had to pivot in 2010. They approached the YMCA of South Hampton Roads to help with a solution that would keep them afloat.
“I’m a huge believer in partnerships and everybody has something to bring to the table. But you have to bring something of value to the other partners.”

They follow a template for product development as much as possible.
They use Sharepoint through Outlook as a way to communicate, and everyone has access to the same material.
They also use Skype to stay connected.
