She has been on “Cupcake Wars” on Food Network four times. She credits smart marketing as a way to get in front of the producers.
Using social media, “we were able to develop a large following.” She started the business with a marketing plan.
“The producers contacted me.”
“The producers contacted me because they saw us on social media.” Carla turned the opportunity down the first time they called.
“We had a great business plan. We work that plan constantly. I had mentors.”
“I have business mentors, I have baking mentors. I have a team of trusted people I do things with.”
“You make a plan, you implement it, you measure it, and you follow through.”
